We had a bus riders meeting this evening at the cafe. A couple new people were there and very nice too. She doesn't drive, they like transit and she mentioned that public transportation is where you see all kinds of people. That is the point I have tried to make many times. So many people never associate with people who aren't just like them. This is even the reason I have been given for not taking the bus, not just by conservatives who don't believe in public transit, but by card carrying liberals with impeccable credentials as liberals.

I need to get a new tire for my bike. I'm already missing not having my bike. I wouldn't miss it as much if it were available, but since it's not I keep noticing when I really could use it.
