More rain today. It is so nice. The humidity is very high but the lower temperatures make it worth while. Several people have been caught in the washes in Tucson and had to be rescued. On some washes the police are making people turn back because everyone thinks they can make it. I heard that the road up to Mt Lemmon has been washed out which means the people in Summerhaven are stranded up there. They had a terrible winter since they had virtually no snow and now people can't get up there in the summer. They are not having a good year since much of their income is from visitors. I lost my camera a few weeks ago and today I got a new one. I've been trying to decide for a while which one to get. I started at the high end and low end and worked toward the middle. I ended up with a nice 35mm point and shoot but it has zoom to 120 mm and some nice features including being weatherproof which is nice for me. An online forum suggested the make and said the lower end cameras didn't have the best focus. I'm so excited. I've been taking pictures of Cat to try it out. One nice feature is that it puts the date on the pictures which will be great since I always forget when I took the picture. A little case came with it but it's pretty crummy so I'm going to look for a case this weekend. I've found nice camera cases in used clothing stores in the purse sections, so I think I'll start there. I have all my bills ready to mail since tomorrow is payday, so I'm ready to go for the weekend. I'm want to ride along the washes and take pictures of the water, but not too close. It's suppose to warm up this weekend but it still should be cooler than it has been. I'm also hoping for some great sunsets this summer.
