I went to look at computers after work since I am so tired of messing with mine, but even though they are much cheaper it would still be nearly $400.00 for the cheapest cpu. I just drooled over what they all have now. At least 3 gigabytes is standard, I have 1.2 gigabytes. I have 75 mhz, and now over 300 mhz is standard. I would love to have all that and the faster modems and such.

I did put a new modem on mine but it still doesn't work that well. I'll just keep my eye on sales. I can stay with my old monitor so I just need a cpu. If I found one at $200.00 I would probably get it. I need to look around the internet to see what I can find.

I came home and reinstalled windows 95 as my computer lost the zip drive completely. It seems to be working ok now but it still can't find my printer even when I try to manually install it. At least I can save my work on the zip disks which I would hate to lose.

It was nice and cool as I was leaving work. Evidently parts of town were hit with a pretty good storm but we only got a little rain at work. The sky was gray and look ominous, but the air felt so cool and nice.

I can't decide what I want to do on my vacation in September. First I planned to ride the bus around for a week, then I decided that I would camp at the Grand Canyon, then I decided that I would rather take the bus to the surrounding states. I haven't been to the Grand Canyon for a couple years, but I would also like to do some real traveling.

I expect I shall dither for a few weeks before making up my mind. There are so many things I would like to do, but I would also like to not spend too much as I want to pay off bills a little faster. Decisions, decisions, but the planning is a lot of fun. It would be nice to camp at the Grand Canyon as it's the sunrises and the sunsets that are the most beautiful time to be there.

I also can't decide whether I want to camp as I would have to carry my tent and sleeping bag on the bus, as well as a foam pad and food and a stove and all that. Is seeing a sunset over the Grand Canyon worth it? I'll have to think about it.
