A good day today. I spent time in a bookstore and wrote down some books I want to put on hold at the library. I found two out of three at the library, and put in a request for them, and the third is just a maybe for me anyway. I love being able to order books from another library. Of course some of the popular authors have like 200 people waiting for the book and even if they order ten or twenty copies, that's still a long wait. I've received notices that a book is waiting for me and have forgotten that I even ordered it. It's great being able to check the catalog online and order them online.

I then went to see a movie. I saw "Trick" which was pretty good. It was about two gay guys trying to find a place to have sex. It was funny but the main character was just too cute and innocent to be believable. It was a nice fluffy movie to watch on a Sunday afternoon. I'm cheap and go to the first showing.

When I came out everything was soaked. Evidently they had a real soaker with hail and everything. When I got home water had come in under my door so it must have really blown. Before I went home I rode to the end of the Riverpark and back because it was so cool and cloudy.

I was nearly the only person on the path and enjoyed whizzing along and looking at the wash with water in it. We get excited when there's water in our rivers. Everything smelled so good and I could smell something sweet mingled with the creosote of the desert. Nothing smells as good as a desert after it rains.

It's back to work tomorrow. How fast the last couple days of vacation go. It'll be hard to get up at 5:00. Oh, damn, that is just too early!
