I am so tired again. I'll bet it's the flu I had last week still trying to get me. Last night and tonight I'm exhausted by the time I've had supper and all I want to do is stare at the television or internet. Tomorrow I can sleep in and enjoy, especially since we have a cold wave coming in (the high is suppose to be only in the 80s) and I'll be able to get out in the middle of the day without it being so hot.

Cat's been acting weird the last couple of days. I can't walk anywhere without her twisting around my feet. I've stepped on her a couple of times and nearly tripped over her a few times. She has food and water and I haven't been gone more than normal. She looks ok and doesn't seem sick. She drives me crazy when she does this. I'm always afraid that I'll hurt her badly.

The sun isn't even up when I leave the house in the morning around 6:00. You can just see the glow behind the mountains. I've even used the lights when I rode my bike though it was plenty light before I got to work. It's so beautiful at that time and everything looks hopeful and full of promise.

I still try to get up and leave at the same time even though I don't have to be to work till 8:00 this month. This gives me about an hour for coffee before I start. We have two coffee shops right by work, Starbucks and Plantation. Starbucks is the best in the morning because they have nice armchairs with tables beside them so I can read in comfort. They're rarely full as the students aren't around much yet. Most of their customers are staff and faculty at the university, looking a bit bleary and slow to react.
