There always comes a time when I have to go home. We all went out to set up the craft fair booth and then Mike took me to the airport. I was an hour and a half early but had to wait in line twenty minutes just to check my bag and when I got to the gate to get a boarding pass there were twenty ahead of me even though it was over an hour before the plane left and they hadn't even started checking people in.

LAX was very full and there were more than the normal number of families and kids. I guess people took off Friday after Veterans Day for a long weekend. There were a lot of rude people too. I waited, stood patiently, at the front of the loading line with only a couple people ahead of me and then when they announced boarding a bunch crowded in front including one guy who also tried to cut in front of the check in line but I wouldn't let him. Why are people so rude? If you want to be in front, you wait in line. It's as simple as that. I really dislike people who cut in.

The flight left about twenty minutes late also. Twenty seems to be my bad number today. It was uneventful but at least I was in the first section and on the aisle. It was good to see Tucson come into view. The air was so clear and the sky so blue. It's been hazy all week in LA, even on sunny days. Mike says it's the marine layer not smog but I dunno.

My cat was glad to see me and I was glad to see my apartment. I walked up to the store for a few groceries and then just settled down to enjoy my own place.
