Friday, December 10, 1999I'm looking around my apartment, that I did a major cleaning on just a couple weeks ago and it's already looking very very cluttered. The problem is that I pile things. The apartment isn't really dirty but it will soon become dirty because everything will be piled with stuff which makes it difficult to clean things. I don't mean to be a slob but I just toss my jacket on the chair because I'll be wearing it again tomorrow, anyway. I put something else on the desk because I am in a hurry and don't want to take the time to put it away. Other things I don't really have a place to put so I pile them, such as library books, but after digging through them they get all over the place. I also just hate to spend the time picking up and putting away when there are more interesting things to do. Cleaning is comes so low on my scale of things I would like to do. I like how things look after I finish cleaning, but the actual cleaning is something that I can put off with little guilt. My best cleaning tool is knowing that someone is coming over.
